The Gravel and Wine - Race Series starts off with the first bike race of the season in Temecula CA. January 24th, 2026. We are so excited to announce that Gravel & Wine will be expanding again to create an early season, 3 Event Series, to include; Temecula, Paso Robles. and Warner Springs. So, welcome to the Gravel & Wine California Race Series! And yes, we are offering attractive 3 Event pricing and a bigger prize bag for not only the podium positions, but also our infamous Gravel Raffle, featuring amazing prizes from our valued sponsors & partners! Piccolo @ 40 Miles w/ 3285 Ft of Beautiful Climbing - Start @ 8:45am
Taster @ 26 Miles w/ 1848 Ft of Beautiful Climbing - Start @ 9:30am
For those of you who've raced with us in the past, we listened to the feedback and both shortened the routes and elevation gain. We have a special place in the racing world as we are the first event of the year and we want everyone to have a great day on the bicycle! We also took out some of the overly difficult segments (sorry mountain bikers)!
The Official Routes will be revealed to all registered 10 days prior to the event. Thereafter, anyone that registers will receive the routes with their confirmation email.

Verum Velo is born of a frustration with compromise. I have always endeavored to build the best possible wheels with the finest components available, but found that most high-end rims were lacking important features. We’re located in sunny Southern California, so our customers ride all year-round and our wheels see a lot of miles, both in training and competition. We’ve learned from our clients what’s fast and what lasts, and that the two are not mutually exclusive. Our wheels are the products of the things we value most; namely performance, reliability, and serviceability. In particular, we believe that reliability is an oft overlooked performance feature.
